The Rapoo MT760L stands out with its excellent build quality and practical design, earning a Red Dot Design Award. The side scroll wheel and two customizable side buttons enhance workflow. Resembling Logitech's MX Master series, it offers a budget-friendly alternative but lacks the fast-scrolling wheel. While software drivers are initially hard to find on the global website, the Chinese site provides a solution for seamless connectivity, supporting up to four devices. Overall, the MT760L is a notable upgrade from the MT750L, poised to make a significant impact on the market.
Build quality and design is better. Both for aesthetics and also practicality. The use and implementation of the side scroll wheel is nice and paired with the 2 customizable buttons at the side, it allows me to maximize my workflow even more. When it comes to the physical design, aside from being a @reddotdesignaward awardee, it is very similar to the MX Master series from Logitech which at this point, it is the more budget friendly option that only has 1 lacking feature which is the seamless and fast scrolling scroll wheel that the MX Master series has.
In terms of software drivers, obtaining them for the Rapoo MT760L proved to be a bit of a challenge as they were not readily available on the global website. A more in-depth search led me to the Chinese website of Rapoo, where the necessary drivers were found. Despite this initial hurdle, the drivers function seamlessly, offering a smooth user experience, particularly with the inclusion of the smart cross-device connection feature. Connectivity is a standout feature of the MT760L, allowing it to connect to a total of four devices. This includes compatibility with three Bluetooth devices and one through the 2.4GHz dongle. Notably, the package includes two dongles, not as backups, but to facilitate the smart cross-device connection seamlessly. This means that the mouse works effortlessly with two different devices, a feature comparable to Logitech's capabilities. In conclusion, the Rapoo MT760L serves as a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the MT750L, offering improved features and design. With its seamless connectivity options and the potential to work with multiple devices efficiently, it is poised to make a notable impact in the market once again.
